Wow, i can't believe there is only two week left of class already! I am writing my final paper about whether the City of Taylor should have the festival and fireworks that it does every year or to continue it being canceled. I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving break, i just wish i was a little more motivated! The last two weeks of a semester is the hardest to deal with. ughhh I'm ready for Christmas.

Peer edit.

I just finished revising my Wikipedia entry from the corrections at peer edit, which was pretty helpful! There weren't many corrections on my paper but i did have a few things wrong with punctuation that were fixed. Was i the only one who has trouble putting pictures on their page though? I still cannot figure it out. It will sure feel good to have this paper over with, hopefully with a good grade!

Hmm

Just thought i would post something, it's been a couple of weeks. I am just sitting here typing our Wikipedia assignment on the rules and thinking about which movie i am going to do the extra credit on. It will probably end up being "Dead Poets Society", I've only seen certain parts of the movie and it was pretty funny from what i watched of it. See everyone tomorrow :)

Research.

For the paper #1 rubric it says the library discussion is due the 12th. Is this a separate paper that he just didn't explain yet, or am i writing what is the under the research section?

Anyway, i did start some research, but only internet sources so far. I plan on actually going to the park and taking pictures and such. There are signs by each building giving a brief historical summary with actual dates in which they were built and what the purpose for each building was, so that part of my paper should not be difficult to write. As you can see in the picture,most students from surrounding high schools go to take their homecoming or prom pictures at the park, just thought i would show an actual picture..For now here is a link to the City of Taylor's website describing Heritage Park.

Wikipedia Entry!

Well I have been thinking about my Wikipedia paper, I might do something on a park in the city I used to live in, Heritage Park in Taylor. I’m not really sure yrt, but the park does have many historical buildings that I could write about. Also the Junior League World Series is held there, so that might be interesting. The park holds many activities and I’m pretty sure no one has a page about it yet. There is a really pretty picture of one of the bridges at the park to the upper right. Let me know what you all think! :-)

Hello everyone! I guess i'll start off by telling you a little about myself..I'm a freshman at EMU, majoring in Nursing and hoping to minor in spanish.
